Beginning of the End for Georgia Legend?

He is 84 years old. He is battling health issues that make road games very difficult for him. And his sharpness in the radio booth has been on the decline for the last ten+ years. But for University of Georgia football fans. Larry Munson IS Bulldog football. I remember Julian Robichaux expressing shock a couple of years ago when he heard Munson still on the radio. They do not make radio announcers like him anymore. He has been at UGA for over 40 years. For many, it is unthinkable that he would one day have to finally retire. Unfortunately, that time is rapidly coming. Munson met with UGA Athletic Director Damon Evans yesterday to discuss his future. It looks like road games may be the first thing taken off of his plate. So let's hope UGA honors the voice of the Bulldogs this year, and that all can agree that this year should be his last in the booth. All the best to you Larry!
