More SOA at the WebSphere Tech Exchange
This morning is more back to back Service
Oriented Architecture (SOA) session
at the WebSphere
Tech Exchange. The first session,
SOA Best Practices,
suffered from some of the same deficiencies from the first day: unreadable
slides and rambling information (to me at least). not enough clear communication
of real best practices case studies. The current session, SOA
Security, has much better content
but is almost too much information. The speaker, Tony
Cowan of IBM, has touched on
compliance and governance issues in this session. But he has not directly
brought up Federated Identity. He has danced around it a bit, but not yet
called it out by name. Alas, he also has slideware that is too cluttered
and totally unreadable from the back 1/3 of the room.
