Microsoft Tries To Feed Up More FUD, Again
What would you do if you were forced
to pull a document from your public website because it was filled with
factual errors and misstatements? What would you do with survey results
that were shown to be biased and held to be statistically invalid by one
of the leading survey researchers in the world? Well it seems that if you
are a Microsoft
employee by the name of Roger
Murff (Senior Product Manger, Microsoft)
, you go ahead and quote these documents as if they are fact, hoping that
your potential customers do not realize how faulty the facts being presented
are, and use FUD to sell instead of focusing on the benefits of your product.
I am still reading this document, but I encourage anyone presented with
this document consider the source and read "Lies,
Damn Lies, and Radica...oops I Mean Statistics"
and "On
Forbes, Foolishness and FUD".
If anybody wants the subject Microsoft presentation being shown around
the world, please let me know,
