Yesterday's Presentation on IT Ethics and Business Risk
Yesterday I did a presentation for ISACA
Atlanta entitled "From
Radicati to Oklahoma State and Beyond: IT Ethics and Business Risk".
There were about 35-40 people in attendance for this luncheon presentation.
I used up every one of the 60 minutes allotted and it seemed to be well
received. One thing I noted was that of the 35-40 audit and business control
people there, only
one had a background in system
administration or programming.
I guess this is what James
Governor of Redmonk
meant when he said that I was in a "sweet spot". I don't know
if I am convinced of this, but I do know that I really enjoy making these
presentations. I will post the presentation here in a few days. This is
one of the reasons I have not been posting lately, as I have been trying
to get this presentation and two for Admin2005
done; as well as an article on blogging
and business risk for Compliance
Solutions Advisor that I am writing
with Richard
Schwartz.
