Permalink Sending Files and Attachments To A User Selected Network Directory

I had an e-mail from a former colleague today. He wanted to know if I knew of any way to create an export button using LotusScript that would allow a user to send a file to a designated mapped network drive/folder. In this case, the users would be sending exports of their e-mail files for Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC compliance. He had already used an application from the Lotus developerWorks Sandbox to convert the emails to a rich text format for export. This was because the export format generated by Lotus Notes would not cut it. After scratching my head a few minutes, I remembered a Sandbox application that did some way cool API tricks including the kind of export he wanted to do.

So here is a link to the "API Goodies" Lotus Notes application you can use for compliance efforts and show your CIO what a genius you are. Look at the "Save Dialog" agent.
